About Pedestrian

Pedestrian originally began in 2018 as a quarterly magazine, but has since expanded to the newsletter you are reading today and is occasionally released as a podcast.

Since launching in 2018, Pedestrian has told stories about a USPS letter carrier from Mark Twain's hometown, subway performers from Gambia, an 83 year old who runs a bookstore as a hobby, a subway attendant who met Keith Haring and became an artist, a street vendor who sells hot dogs in Midtown Manhattan, a vagabond who walked from Chicago to New Orleans, and more.
